Description :

"French Louis XV Period 1750s Walnut Enfilade with Three Drawers over Three Doors XX139"
A French Louis XV period walnut enfilade from the mid-18th century with three drawers over three doors, carved apron and panels. Created in France during the reign of King Louis XV nicknamed Le Bien-Aimé (translating as The Beloved in English), this walnut enfilade features a rectangular planked top with rounded corners in the front, sitting above three drawers presenting iron handles and a hand-cut dovetail construction revealing its good age. Three doors (a pair of double doors and a single one on the side), decorated with recessed panels and scrolling molded effects, open to reveal inner shelves offering convenient storage options. Delicately carved side posts and a scalloped apron complete the ensemble. The enfilade is raised on scrolling feet in the front and straight ones in the back. The sides present simply recessed panels and the back is, of course, unfinished. With its elegant Louis XV lines and walnut patina, this French enfilade circa 1750 will make for a great addition to any home, particularly placed in a dining room or living room.
