"17th Century Dutch Oak Cupboard"
A 17th Century Dutch oak cupboard (also known as a keeftkast), circa 1640. Of an unusually small size, the deep and high plinth top above a pair of arched panel doors with shallow reeded and foliate carved edges flanked by tapering fluted columns and carved capitals, the grotesque mask escutcheons with one sliding to reveal the lock, the doors opening to reveal a fret panel interior door and storage space, raised on bun feet, retaining the original key.
