Created in France during the 19th century, each of this pair of bergères features a winged back, designed to provide privacy and comfort to the sitter, adorned with beads and waterleaves. The arms are scrolled on the knuckles and present acanthus leaf motifs. Comprising a custom-made cushion, each bergère is upholstered with a double welt cotton fabric, while the entire structure is painted in a soft color.
