Circa 1870 French silk hand-painted four-panel folding screen with striped-lined back and glass tops. Each gilt panel, stands a different height, and is painted with Italian Carnival masked figures and other figures in costumes. Good condition with some loss of color, gilt and a few chips consistent with age.Each panel is 23in. wide for a total width of 92inches. Height varies between 63in, 71in, and 83in. Depth is 1.5 inches approx.
