18th century Provençal landscape, oil on canvas, animated with happy villagers in typical Provençal costumes, Roman ruins , and Mount Ventoux in the background. The bridge illustrated exists today. Frame is a 19 th century hand molded wood frame with original paint, with a nice patine. Frame is not the original to this painting however is very complimentary.
