Impressionist landscape created in thickly applied oil paints on wooden board. Frame is not the original and is a late19th century frame of papier-mâché on a solid wood backing. Rear side of the painting is another landscape I assume is by the same artist.Front painting has very tasty "sun light"effects and Monet like brush work .
