A French black painted iron four-light lantern from the 20th century, with four glass panels, tapering body, domed top and scrolling feet. Created in France during the 20th century, this black painted iron lantern features a domed curving top with upper canopy and large handle, sitting above a tapering base made of four glass panels. These panels secure a metal shaft to which four slender scrolling arms are connected. They support cream colored candles sleeves. The lantern has been newly and professionally rewired for the US and is ready to be hung. The ensemble is completed by four petite scrolling feet providing a perfect visual conclusion to the piece.
