Hippolyte Petitjean was a French Post-Impressionist artist. He studied under Cabanel and Puvis de Chavannes. A close friend of Seurat, Petitjean started to paint in a Neo-Impressionist style in 1886. He mostly adhered to the tenants of Pointilism for the remainder of his career. However, he found ways to refresh and reinvent the strict, demanding style. Contact for more information.
